Comics created for the NHS Infection Prevention and control team in Leeds community health services, to raise awareness about the flu jab. The comics were designed to bust all the common myths around getting the flu vaccine, to increase the uptake of the flu vaccine.
To the left are the original costumes of Flo and Frankie the flu bugs which I based my comic illustrations on.
Flo and Frankie the flu bugs (above) based upon two mascots the Infection control team at a Leeds NHS hospital had created. The mascot outfit imagery provided allowed for a variety of sketches to form until these designs were created.
